HYDERABAD: Hyderabad-based Suchirindia Developers Ltd. announced a bonanza of deluxe flats and a silver crown for each of the 12-member M.S. Dhoni-led India squad, which won the final against Pakistan in the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 Championship in Johannesburg. Each of the members of that 12-member squad for the final (not the entire contingent) will be given flats of 3600 square feet each in their project (which is 90 per cent complete on a 750-acre site) near Vijayawada on the highway, according to Dhananjay Kumar, Financial Controller, who spoke on behalf of the Lion Dr. Y. Kiron, CEO of the Group, who could not make it to the briefing. “We have written to the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) to permit us to make these presentations when most of them will be available during the India-Australia one-dayer here on October 5,” the official informed. “Besides this, we are also giving each of them a silver crown for their extraordinary performance. This is our token gesture in recognition of the World Cup victory,” he added.
