Philippines co. picks up stake in FieldFresh

NEW DELHI: The Philippines-based Del Monte Pacific Ltd. has acquired 40 per cent stake in FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture company formed by Bharti Enterprises and the U.K.’s EL Rothschild Limited, according to a statement issued here on Friday.

However, the amount of the deal was not disclosed by the company. The company said as per the new arrangement, Bharti will continue to hold 50 per cent in the company, while Del Monte Pacific Limited will acquire 40 per cent stake in the company from EL Rothschild Limited, which will now hold 10 per cent in the company.
