KANNUR: The Chalachithra Akademy will constitute film clubs in schools to develop film appreciation skills among students. Akademy vice-chairman V.K. Joseph said at a function here on Saturday that the Akademy would also conduct training courses for teachers in film studies. He was inaugurating the first anniversary celebrations of the Film Society started by the Press Club here. He said the teachers had to be equipped to help the students imbibe the skills to appreciate good cinema. Mr. Joseph also released a documentary on veteran journalist K. Koya. Kerala Union of Working Journalist State president P.P. Saseendran received the copy of the documentary.
