PUDUCHERRY: Around 15 circle inspectors of Police have been transferred in the Union Territory. According to a press release issued by the Police Headquarters on Friday, Chintha Kothandaram has been transferred to the Grand Bazaar Station from the Crime and Intelligence Department (CID). He takes over from K. Gunasegaran, who has been shifted to the CID. S. Venkatasamy has been shifted from Bahour to Villianur in place of D. Ravindran, who has been posted in the Food Cell. R. Mohan Kumar has been transferred to the Thirukkanur station in place of K.L. Viravallabane, who has assumed charge in Lawspet. R. Bakthavachalam has been transferred to the Ariyankuppam station in place of Ranganathan, who has been shifted to the Bahour police station. T. Bairavasamy has moved over to Orleanpet station in place of S. Venketasamy. P. Purushothaman has been transferred to SIGMA (security) in place of V. Balakrishanan, who has been posted in Yanam police station. D. Marimuthu has been transferred to the Special Branch from the Food Cell. Konda V. Rao has been transferred from the Yanam station to SIGMA security.
