Shops removed

NAMAKKAL: A team of revenue officials removed the encroachments from poramboke land in Valaiyapatti near here on Saturday.

Officials said that a few persons occupied the land and put up shops. Following complaints, the officials removed the encroachments. Earthmovers were deployed to destroy the concrete structures.
