VISAKHAPATNAM: Indira Gandhi Zoological Park will conduct a series of activities as part of the wildlife week celebrations during the first week of October.
Various competitions like painting, quiz, essay-writing (in English and Telugu) and elocution will be held for students of schools and colleges.
Topics for the painting competition are animals and birds (class I to III), dream of green Vizag (class IV to VI) and nature (class VII to X). The essay topics are wildlife (class VII to IX) and biodiversity (class X to XII). All children below 12 years will be given free entry into the zoo from October 1 to 7.
