Vatal opposes mid-term polls

BANGALORE: Vatal Nagaraj, president of Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha, has called up the like-minded legislators to come forward to form a government and avoid midterm elections. In a press release, Mr. Nagaraj said formation of such a Government would be a protest against the possible failure of the Congress, the Janata Dal (Secular) and the Bharatiya Janata Party, which would lead to midterm elections.

The recent political developments were causing instability in the State, Mr. Nagaraj said. — Staff Reporter
