Monday bandh: flights cancelled

MADURAI: Indian (Indian Airlines) has announced the cancellation of its flights to Madurai on October 1 in view of the Statewide bandh called by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and its allies in support of the Sethusamudram Ship Channel Project. According to a press release from S. S. Pirakalathan, Area Marketing Manager, Indian’s flight IC 671 Chennai-Madurai and flight IC 672 Madurai-Chennai-Mumbai will remain cancelled on Monday.
