KARUR: The Dalit Liberation Movement has demanded that the social and economically downtrodden “Arunthathiyars” be provided a special built in reservation to ensure their uplift. Also, converted Dalits should be extended reservation benefits.

State general secretary of the Movement Dalit Gnanasekaran and State Organiser Dalit Pandiyan said here that in order to highlight the demands, the Movement would organise a march from Coimbatore to Chennai between November 14 and December 6.
