No sale of meat

Meat shops in the city will remain closed on Tuesday. The Corporation has banned the slaughter of animals and sale of meat in view of Gandhi Jayanti. Severe action will be initiated against violators, Corporation Commissioner D.J. Dhinakkaren has warned. — Staff Reporter
