RJD to pay for party rallyists’ travel: Lalu

Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal supporters attending the October 28 ‘Chetawani Rally,’ called to highlight the “all-round failure” of the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, will travel in reserved accommodation in trains arranged by the main Opposition party in the State.

“No grabbing of seats”

“This time there will be no forcible grabbing of seats and berths of bona fide passengers. RJD workers and supporters coming to attend the rally will have reserved accommodation provided by the party,” party president and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad told a meeting of party leaders, called to review preparations for the event.

He said the ‘Chetawani rally’ would surpass all past rallies in numerical terms. — PTI
