Glittering start to International Institute of Fashion Technology

VISAKHAPATNAM: Her girl-next-door looks and warm smile won many hearts. Miss India (Earth) 2007 Pooja Chitgopekar was seemingly overwhelmed by the grand welcome she received here on Sunday.

She was here along with Telugu film star Navneet Kaur to inaugurate the International Institute of Fashion Technology and NICE Xplore-Tech. Even as they arrived an hour late at the institute, a huge crowd gathered at the place and stood waiting there from a long time.

They went around the institute and appreciated its infrastructure and tastefully designed interiors. They also visited the beauty clinic and designer boutique of the institute.

Cultural bash

As people stood at vantage positions to have a glimpse of them, both the models obliged many fans by posing for photographs. They met a bunch of school students and gave autographs. A cultural bash was held in the evening at Tenneti Park. Models and dance troupes from Kolkata entertained the audience with their performance. Ms. Navneet Kaur also performed during the colourful show.
