Painters’ camp

BHUBANESWAR: Orissan contemporary art has attracted international art auction market again, courtesy the New Delhi-based Dreamz Art Gallery. Close on the heels of a similar show hosted in the State capital by Delhi-based Krishna Art Gallery earlier this year, a five-day national painters’ camp is being hosted at Jayadev Bhawan from October 13 with about 30 artists, including 20 from Orissa.

Workshop convener Bijay Kumar Mohanty told The Hindu that each artist shall be offered a decent participation fee while the gallery will have the responsibility to market the paintings through its international contacts.
