A narrow margin

Chitradurga: In what could be termed as close call, the Janata Dal (Secular) candidate of ward no 4 of Hiriyur taluk has won the election by one vote against his Congress opponent.

Savita Rajkumar secured 370 votes while Congress candidate G. Savita secured 369 votes. Thirteen votes were found to be invalid.
