BERHAMPUR: City police would introduce two mobile vans with armed personnel for round-the-clock patrolling in the city from Oct 2, informed the Berhampur SP, Dayal Gangwar on Sunday. Two police officers and five personnel who would be in direct touch with the police headquarter would travel in these vehicles. It may be noted that the Law and Order squad in the city has already been using four vehicles for patrolling. Mr Gangwar said increased intensive patrolling would reduce petty crimes like snatching, extortion and clashes.
