TIRUVANNAMALAI: Wheat flour will be supplied to family card-holders under public distribution system through fair price shops throughout the State from Monday, according to Food Minister E.V. Velu.
He was speaking at a function organised to distribute ‘pattas’ under the fifth phase of the land scheme at Mothakkal in Chengam taluk on Sunday.
He also distributed loans to the tune of Rs.1.13 crore to women SHGs through primary agricultural cooperative banks. The Government High School in Mothakkal would be upgraded into a higher secondary school before the next academic year, Mr. Velu added.
