TDP releases 100-point questionnaire

HYDERABAD: Questioning the need for the Congress Government to celebrate ‘Indiramma Sambaraalu’ when people were reeling under hardships due to Government’s ‘anti-people policies’, the Telugu Desam Party on Sunday released a 100-point questionnaire seeking answers.

In a press release circulated to the media along with the questionnaire addressed to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, TDP Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said farmers, women, poorer sections, students and the unemployed, among others, are facing problems everyday.

Real estate business

Mr. Ramakrishnudu alleged that private companies are involved in real estate business in Government lands even as the poor are forced to face police lathis and bullets for getting possession of house-sites.

The senior TDP leader charged the Government with harassing leaders of Opposition parties for exposing injustice and irregularities and even gagging the media.
