Heritage bicycle ride

NEW DELHI: Delhi Cycling Club in association with INTACH organised a heritage bicycle ride in the Chandni Chowk area on Sunday to promote cycling as a zero-pollution, healthy and low-cost transportation.

Around 35 cycling enthusiasts and citizens participated in a two-hour guided cycling tour to discover the historical Shahjahanbad and understand Delhi’s history, people, art and architecture.

The event was attended by people concerned about the rapidly increasing number of cars, pollution, fossil fuel consumption and traffic jams which is cause for global warming.
