Heart Day celebrated

NEW DELHI: The Cornola World Heart Day was celebrated at Shantivan here on Sunday with about 1,000 people participating in a brisk morning walk exercise to Raj Ghat.

The walk was flagged off by Delhi Finance Minister A.K. Walia.

The event was organised under the aegis of All India Heart Foundation and Cardiologist Society of India. The theme of this year’s event was “Team Up for a Healthy Heart.”

On the occasion, a team of eminent doctors answered the participants’ queries on health care.
