TDP boycotts civic body function

Kakinada: The function held at the Municipal Corporation here on Sunday to mark the completion of two years of the elected council proved to be one-sided affair as the opposition TDP and a group of the Congress councillors stayed away from it. City Congress President Pantham Nanaji, who attended the function as the chief guest, conveyed his greetings to the council members. Mayor K. Saroja and Commissioner Y. Sivakoti Prasad distributed wheel chairs and hearing aids to the physically challenged persons and old age pensions.
