London: Thirty leading Indian and international business entrepreneurs, managers, educators and politicians will address the 2nd Annual IIM Global Summit on Management, which will be held here on October 4. The annual event attracts a vast number of delegates from industry, academia and policy areas from beyond the 700-strong alumni network of India’s top business schools — the six IIMs . Entitled ‘The Changing Face of Business,’ the day-long summit will feature keynote addresses by notable speakers as well as panel discussions on key innovations and growth areas such as Islamic Banking, Micro-finance, Next-Generation Outsourcing, Green Technologies and new frontiers in Offshoring. The event is hosted by the Europe Chapter of the alumni organisation of India’s IIMs. Mehmood Khan, Global Leader of Innovation at Unilever and president of the IIM Alumni Association, Europe, said “globalisation is here and now, not in the future any more, and it has changed the models of business and the very nature of global companies.” — PTI
