BANGALORE: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Karnataka State Police played out a lacklustre goalless draw in the Super Division league football championship here on Sunday. Both teams created a number of opportunities but failed to capitalise on the chances created. HAL’s skipper Xavier Vijay Kumar and KSP’s Sameer Ahmed earned yellow cards for their rough play. In the ‘A’ division fixture, BHEL (EPD) beat Dharamaraja Union 4-1. Ramesh (13th and 24th) logged a double and Shobhan (35th) and Ramkumar (89th) pitched in with a goal apiece for the winner. Praveen (72nd) was the sole scorer for Dharmaraja Union. In Monday’s Super Division match Aeronautical Development Establishment will vie against Bharat Earth Movers (EM) at 3.45 p.m.
