Nicy shines

KOCHI: Nicy Francis was in fine form as Assumption College (Changanassery) defeated St. Xavier’s (Aluva) 64-51 to win the women’s basketball title in the 62nd Fr. Bartholomew all-Kerala inter-collegiate tournaments at Thevara on Sunday.

The result: Assumption 64 (Nicy Francis 24, Ligi Mathew 16) bt St. Xavier’s (Aluva) 51.
