‘Learn Hindi’

The valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight celebrations was organised at the Office of the Commissioner of Central Excise on Wednesday.

A. K. Agarwal, Commissioner of Central Excise, presided. R. Sivasubramanian, Regional Manager, Central Bank of India, and Chairman, Town Official Language Implementation Committee, was the chief guest. Speakers highlighted the importance of learning Hindi. Prizes were distributed to winners of competitions held to mark the celebrations, according to an official press release.
