Police conduct inspection

The police on Sunday checked the premises of second hand two-wheeler sellers to see whether any transaction of unregistered or stolen vehicles was taking place.

According to Additional DCP P.Rama Rao, transactions by 24 dealers were inspected in the city. The police did find some vehicles without papers but the dealers said that the documents were with the owners and once the deal was finalised they would inform them and get the papers.

Mr.Rama Rao said the engine and chases numbers were taken down to verify their claim.
