IGNOU scheme for the disabled

New Delhi: IGNOU has signed an MoU with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for promotion of training and educational programmes for the physically challenged.

The MoU envisages development of special education and rehabilitation programmes for the disabled, a release said here on Sunday. The university will make available the study material for the purpose in eight languages -- Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali, Tamil and Telgu -- within six months.
