Dengue hits AIIMS’ doctor

New Delhi: A resident doctor of AIIMS was admitted on Sunday at the premier hospital on being tested positive for dengue, hospital authorities said.

On Friday, an MBBS student of AIIMS was also hospitalised for suspected dengue, which was later confirmed in the medical reports.

“A resident doctor was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and he is being treated for dengue,” Nodal Officer for dengue, appointed especially by AIIMS, Dr Bir Singh said.

The medico stays in residential area of AIIMS at Ayurvigyan Nagar, which is four kms away from the hospital.
