World Elder’s Day

NEW DELHI: To mark World Elder’s Day, the Efforts Group is hosting an event at Safdarjung Club here on Monday to recognise and felicitate senior citizens.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will be the chief guest at the programme that will include a musical event, games, quiz and dinner. Gifts will be presented to senior citizens on the occasion.

Efforts Group will request doctors, lawyers and other professionals to provide free services to senior citizens during the first week of October.
