Security guard robbed

NEW DELHI: An unidentified man robbed a security guard of a bag containing large amount of cash and a laptop at Kirti Nagar here on Sunday. A hunt has been launched for the culprit.

According to the police, the incident took place around 9 p.m. when the security guard, Sambhu Dayal, was taking the bag of his employer, Pawan Ahuja, to his residence. He was climbing the stairs when someone hit him on the head with a blunt object from behind, snatched the bag from him and vanished from the scene. The Kirti Nagar police have registered a case of snatching. Mr. Ahuja is into furniture business.
