Registration offices opened

VIZIANAGARAM: Lok Sabha member Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi inaugurated the offices of Deputy Inspector-General (Registration and Stamps) at Koppu Gurranna Buildings, Kotha Agraharam, and the Sub-Registrar Office (west) near Collector’s bungalow, Gantyada Road, here on Monday.

According to V. Ravi Kumar, DIG, the DIG Office will monitor land dealings in both Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.

Owing to increasing number of transactions at the existing Sub-Registrar Office, the government decided to reorganise the department, the DIG said.
