NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested on charges of beating one of their friends to death while allegedly drunk at Krishna Nagar here on Sunday. A hunt has been launched for the other two accused.
According to the police, the incident took place around 8-30 p.m. when Babu (22) and his friends Mohit Jain, Dinesh, Bunty, Vinod and Sunil went to an eating joint after allegedly consuming liquor. An altercation broke out between Babu and Dinesh over some issue, following which Dinesh along with Bunty, Vinod and Sunil allegedly thrashed him. Babu lost consciousness and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
