Anantapur
ANANTAPUR: Though Anantapur district is backward in terms of development, it is in the forefront in social awareness and humanitarian activities like blood donation, Collector N. Sridhar said here on Monday. Speaking at a blood donation camp organised at Rapthadu on the occasion of International Blood Donation Day, he said people from all sections, including politicians and non-governmental organisations, were actively participating in humanitarian causes like blood and eye donation.
