The fashion show for men is back

Flaunting it: Models displaying creations by Rohit Bal during the preview of the India Men’s Fashion Fair in Bangalore on Monday.

BANGALORE: The third edition of India Men’s Fashion Fair, the only one dedicated to brawn and muscles will be held at the Glass Palace in Palace Grounds from October 24 to 27.

It will showcase the country’s leading designers and menswear brands. The show is sponsored by Hayward Black and supported by The Chancery Pavilion.

Several big names of the fashion industry such as Rohit Bal and Asif Shah gave a sneak preview of their collections here on Monday.

Asif Shah created a special collection dedicated to the sponsor and Rohit Bal presented his collection which was aired at the India Fashion Week held at New Delhi earlier this year.

The show will also features young designers from Bangalore such as Amanda and Omair.

Van Heusen and Allen Solly will also feature their line up for women and youth called “Solly Youth”.

Brands such as Dockers, Louis Phillipe and Levis will also present their collections for summer 2008.

Other designers expected are Bibi Russell from Bangladesh Nico Kubisch from London, Lecoanet Hemant from Paris, Darshi Keerthasena from Sri Lanka and Deepak Perwani from Pakistan.
