This Day That Age
A screening unit has been established in Bombay to plan, execute and select programmes for Vividh Bharati, AIR’s new venture, which went on the air from October 3. The unit will select items out of a large variety of material sent to it by 28 AIR stations all over the country. It is headed by Mr. Narendra Sharma, an eminent Hindi poet who has been a successful composer and music director of many popular films. Vividh Bharati represents the choice programmes in music and spoken word from the contributions made by AIR’s network of regional stations.
