“Persevere to succeed”

KARUR: “Perseverance and hard work leads their practitioner to success. Sports is one field where that idea gets reflected and exemplified the most,” Collector T.N. Venkatesh said here recently.

Speaking after giving away prizes to winners at district level sports meet for school children at Rani Meyyamai Higher Secondary School in Puliyur near here, Mr. Venkatesh said a win or loss did not matter as long as the individual was keen on a contest, he added.
