CHICKBALLAPUR: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has urged young advocates to work with dedication to help poor litigants. He was speaking after inaugurating the district court complex and the office of the District and Sessions Judge here on Tuesday. He asked people to settle disputes among themselves and help reduce the burden on courts. He said Rs. 71 crore had been sanctioned for the development of the newly created Chickballapur district, of which Rs. 21 crore had been released. Presiding over the function, Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court Cyriac Joseph stressed the importance of the judiciary in establishing harmony in society. — Staff Correspondent
