Meat traders fined

The city public health wing on Tuesday conducted raids on traders for violating the notified holiday declared on Gandhi jayanthi and selling meat, according to Veterinary Officer N. Karunakara Rao.

About 50 kg. of seized meat was destroyed and Rs.4,000 collected as fine from the erring traders.
