General Manager of Hindustan Zinc Limited K. Siva Prasad garlanded the statue of the Father of the Nation at the Jubilee Park.

At Ba Bapu Seva Sangham, Gandhian and former Minister Bhattam Sriramamurthy described Mahatma Gandhi as a noble soul who stood for universal peace and betterment of mankind as a whole. Stating that nothing could be achieved without struggle, he felt that truth and non-violence should be the weapons to achieve anything.
