HYDERABAD: The State Teachers Union has demanded the State Government to drop move to establish Rural Residential Public Schools as they would lead to privatisation of school education.
The teachers union stated in a press release that the Government proposal went against the spirit of Constitution to provide free education.
The rural public schools with private partnership were not desirable at a time when thousands of Government schools were facing shortage of teachers and basic facilities, it said.
