Girl held for making hoax phone calls

Mumbai: A 15-year-old girl was detained on Tuesday for allegedly making hoax phone calls warning that a bomb had been placed inside her school premises, in order to get a holiday. “The motive behind it was getting a holiday whenever she did not do her school homework,” Deputy Commissioner of Police D.M. Phadtare said. — PTI
