Murali, Rahul shine

VIJAYAWADA: Central Zone ‘B’ clinched the first innings lead of 23 runs against North ‘A’ in the drawn encounter of ACA Matrix Labs inter-zonal cricket tournament held at Guntur on Tuesday.

In reply to Central ‘B’s 114, North ‘A’ was all out for 91 with K. Murali and Rahul claming five wickets each.

North ‘B’ vs Central ‘A’ was abandoned due to rain.

The scores: Central ‘B’114 & 89 for six in 33 overs drew with vs. North ‘A’: 91 in 71 overs (K. Murali five for 31, Rahul five for seven).
