Aman sets new record in 50m backstroke

NEW DELHI: Aman Tokas of Ryan International School smashed a five-year-old record in the 50m backstroke for boys group III (12-13 years) in the Delhi state aquatic meet at the Pacific Sports Complex, Andrews Ganj, here on Tuesday.

Aman clocked 0:35.35 to erase previous mark of 0:35.45 that stood in the name of G.V. Anirudh of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, since 2002.
