GWALIOR: Rani Devi slotted in eight goals as Haryana routed Gujarat 23-0 for the biggest victory margin at the 37th women’s junior National hockey championship here on Tuesday. Rani opened the scoring for Haryana in the third minute as they went on rampage against the hapless Gujarat. Ritu Rani struck six goals to complement Rani’s efforts while six other players also joined the binge. In another match, Milosha Fernandes steered Bombay to 15-0 win against lowly Tripura scoring six goals. Milosha also scored a hat-trick when she scored in the 38th, 41st and 43rd minutes. The results: Haryana 23 (Rani Devi 8, Joydeep Kaur, Ritu Rani 6, Ramendeep Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Rajani, Monika 2, Sandeep Kaur 3) bT Gujarat 0.
