Traffic curbs for ODI

HYDERABAD: Traffic movement will be restricted from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday in connection with the ODI between India and Australia to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal.

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to come to Uppal from Habsiguda, Peerzadiguda, Nagole and Amberpet side during these timings.

Heavy vehicles will be diverted at Kushaiguda towards Keesara via Rampally, Yamanapet to reach Ghatkesar (NH-202).

They will be diverted at Ghatkesar towards Keesara via Bogaram to reach Kushaiguda, towards Abdullahpurmet via Jodimetla and Korremulla and at LB Nagar towards NH-9 and Chandrayangutta.

Special buses

In view of the India-Australia one dayer being played on Friday, special city buses will be operated from various places to Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Uppal.

The special buses will ply from Koti (Route No 115), Kondapur (10H/18), Mehdipatnam (5/18 and 49M/18), Dilsukhnagar (90D), Hayatnagar (290 U), I.S. Sadan (90 U), Secunderabad (18), Risala Bazar (22/18), ECIL ‘X’ Roads (17H/18 and 250/18), Neredmet X Roads (16A/18), Lingampally (226/18), KPHB LIG (10-L/18), Medchal (229/18) and Charminar (72).

These buses will operate on normal fares and sport cricket banners along with the bus numbers. Buses will reach the stadium at 6.30 a.m., 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. and will be available at 4.30 p.m. after completion of the match.
