Convocation today

The eighth convocation of the Tiruppur Kumaran College for Women and laying of foundation stone for a new building will be held at Tirupur on Thursday. Revenue and Housing Minister I. Periasamy and Minister for Slum Clearance Board Suba.Thangavelan will attend. Rural Industries Minister Pongalur N. Palanisamy will lay the foundation stone.

The college is run by Tirupur Cooperative Housing Society. Chairman of the college C. Govindasamy, MLA, said that the new building will be help the college increase the student intake.
