Chennai: The U.S. Centre for Disease Control and Prevention and the Public Health Management Institute, Hyderabad, have announced a one-year fellowship in public health leadership.
A release said the training offered an opportunity to professionals in government or private organisations with experience in public health. Candidates could continue working while in the fellowship programme.
National and international health experts would train the candidates during six one-week contact classes in Hyderabad with sponsored boarding, lodging and course fees. Mentorship is offered throughout the course. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Management or Medicine are eligible.
