TNBSA ‘C’ tops table

CHENNAI: TNBSA ‘C’ accumulated the highest number of points (136) in the Sumeru Soft TNBSA city league — a team championship for billiards and snooker. The top two teams from C1 and C2 divisions qualified for the final league.

In division C1, TNBSA ‘C’ with 136 points topped while TNCA ‘2’ with 117 points came second. Both qualified, pushing CAMS (116 points), to the third spot. In division C2, ASCA with 110 and TNSC ‘2’ with 100 points took the top two places. Seafarers Club finished third with 98 points.

The results: C1: TNBSA ‘C’ bt Alumini Club ‘A’ 5-0; TNBSA ‘C’ bt CAMS 3-2; TNCA ‘2’ bt SVS ‘B’ 4-1.

C2: ASCA bt Q shot ‘B’ 3-2; Seafarers club bt TNBSA ‘D’ 4-1; Q shot ‘B’ bt TNCA ‘3’ 4-1; ASCA bt TNSC ‘2’ 4-1; Seafarers club bt Alumini Club 5-0.

Final standings: C1: 1. TNBSA ‘C’ 136; 2. TNCA ‘2’ 117; 3. CAMS 116; 4. SVS ‘B’ 98; 5. Mylapore Club 79; 6. Potshot ‘B’ 44; 7. Gymkhana Club 31; 8. Alumini Club 31.

C2: 1. ASCA 110; 2. TNSC ‘2’ 100; 3. Seafarers Club 98; 4. Q SHOT ‘B’ 75; 5. TNBSA ‘D’ 71; 6. TNCA 3 31; 7. Alumini Club ‘B’ 4.
