Chennai: Come Dussera and celebrations get into full swing, dances and all.
The Rotary Club of Madras is organising ‘Dandiya Garba Raas’ on Saturday at Hotel Taj Connemara from 7 p.m. onwards. The famous dance form of Gujarat marks the start of Dussera leading to Deepavali. Entry includes entertainment and a Gujarati dinner, specially planned for the occasion by Taj Connemara. For donor passes, contact 9841014925 or 98410 17173.
The money raised will be used to fund various community service projects of the Rotary Club of Madras. The Dandiya Garba Raas will be accompanied by a live band playing traditional numbers.
