Bidar
BIDAR: Officials of the Bidar City Municipal Corporation continued their drive to clear encroachments in the city for the second day on Thursday. As part of the drive, the officials pulled down a portion of a building, which housed a few commercial establishments, near Sangam theatre. Encroachment by some coconut sellers on the pavement was also cleared. CMC Commissioner Prasad told The Hindu that the drive would continue on Friday. — Staff Correspondent
