CHENNAI: The Chennai Petroleum Corporation (CPCL) has initiated a scheme to sponsor 30 girl students residing in Manali neighbourhood to provide a year’s training in nursing assistants’ course, in association with the Lions Club of Nungambakkam at the J.V. Training Institute, attached with the J.V. Hospital, Kodambakkam.
The CPCL has provided the entire financial assistance for the students, totalling about Rs. 2 lakh under its community development activities.
Certificates to the nursing assistants were distributed by S. Chandrasekaran, Director (Technical), CPCL at the JV Training Institute.
